Look Three, Fractured Farmscape, examines the direct side by side contrast between land before and after being utilized for farming. I played with the comparison of the striking way the earth goes from covered to exposed and the human body clothed by a garment. The land goes from complex and diverse to bare and processed. The land feels wounded and needs regeneration to be able to serve the previous ecosystem that was there.  Humans need to give the Earth a chance to heal from repeated taking without giving.
Balaclava top is a full rib knit made with a Silver Reed double bed machine with wool and cotton yarns, stuffed with waste yarn and hand dyed wool roving with turmeric and acid dyes. There is also hand embroidery in red wool around the ladders of the knit. The pants and sleeves are made from my farmscape digital print on mesh.
