Look 5, Concordiaviture, is the capstone piece of the collection in an effort to bridge the disconnect between humans and the Earth. The fabric harmonizes human needs with the land's and imagines how we could live in a reciprocal manner. A visual balance is often evident of the true emotional relationship, which is often missing in western societies. How can the landscape show humans and earth responding to one another and desiring to understand each other? We have the ability to physically impact our surroundings, and we have the choice to live respectfully with all the other organisms on the planet. The Earth is as important as our body. Treating the land around us with diligence and elevating its fundamental role in our lives can only create more balance within people.
